Classes

Notes on the classes of skillsets found throughout the wonderful and formidable lands of Exilium, as recorded by Thomlin the Traveler:

Artificer

Artificers, absolutely a necessary part of any reputable society, have a small array of ways in which they come to posses their abilities. This class specializes in supporting magicks, but also may be keen in their own forms of combat. One who may call themselves a cleric, monk, priest, paladin, or healer would be considered amongst this class. Truly necessary both on the battlefield and after a long night of drink at the local watering hole.

Artisan

Artisans are the backbone of our great society, propelling our great Ordo into the future with their contributions, whether it be in magic, armor, weaponry, or the scholarly arts. Should one be as humble and intelligent as I, they may consider themselves an alchemist, creator, engineer, scholar, or inventor. Our word holds weight, and our skill and creations of late will become legend.

Drifter

Typically the gutter trash you may walk past in the street. Drifters as they are known come and go, rarely staying in one place for very long. Thieves, rogues, monks and outlaws would typically be considered amongst their ilk. Either a despicable blight on our civilization, or an undesirable necessity, they may take contracts here and there, for things even they aren't above doing.

Entertainer

Ahh... can enough even be said of those who would be called entertainer? Often found dancing or providing music, or a host to enjoyment for you and your guests. Bards, dancers, artists, and ahem... courtesans would all be considered entertainers. Some , though rare, may also have some skill dancing with blade, or using tune for inspiration or debilitation.. Should you need that sort of thing from your entertainment.

Fighter

More than your common rabble rouser. Those whom may call themselves fighter as a skillset oft specialize in some form or another, as a barbarian, berserker, cavalry, knight, monk, warrior, weaponmaster, or the common soldier. Living for battle itself, these people drive on either physical strength or finesse or both to face their challenges.

Magus

Great or terrible, novice or grandmaster, those whom fall under the catagory of Magus must take caution when dabbling in the magick arts. Attunement to the mystical threads is no easy feat and oft requires extensive practice and study. Typically a magus would be called: a mystic, Arcanic, Mage, Magus, Necromancer, sorcerer, warlock, witch, wizard, or psion.

Nomad

Not frequently seen within the walls of common society, Nomads typically prefer more distance to civilization. The whisper of the woods, the sound of the wind whistling betwixt the trees, the thrill of the hunt, and the soft patter of raindrops falling amongst the crenulated debris of nations long past call to the Nomad. Developing an array of skills amongst fauna and flora a nomad may be called archer, assassin, gunslinger, ranger, slayer, tamer, hunter, or witcher.

Shaman

Vile... druids, shaman, oracles, summoners... mayhap drawing a warm bath every once in a while should be taught to every shaman.
